Japanese-English Administrative Assistant

We are the regional head office of a well-established auto parts manufacturer and distributor. We supply auto parts to Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi and other automakers. We are currently looking for a candidate to fill English-Japanese Administrative Assistant position in Human Resources/ General Affairs department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide departmental support and dedicated support to one or more professionals
- Create/prepare reports (in English and Japanese)
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Maintain calendars and schedule meetings
- Exposure and handling of confidential/sensitive information
- General office duties include, mail distribution, faxing, filing, photocopying, and ordering supplies
- Translation of confidential documents from Japanese to English and vice versa
- Attend meetings as a translator
- May coordinate staffing activities to include interviewing, on-boarding and transfers
- Other duties as assigned by the needs of the department or company
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English and Japanese, speaking as well as writing
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels and professionals
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- High attention to detail
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
