MnDOT's District 2 is located in the Northwest area of the state, bordered by North Dakota on the west, and Canada to the north. The district headquarters is located in Bemidji, while the maintenance headquarters is in Crookston. Job Description: This vacancy posting is to fill one (1) position in the Bemidji District Office. The successful candidate will be permanently assigned to this location at the end of the two-year Trainee Program.
Upon initial hire, trainees are appointed into unclassified, limited status positions. The Bemidji District Office will be considered the home-base and an advisor will be assigned as a mentor through the program. Trainees who are located in a District office will be required to complete at least one rotation in a Twin Cities assignment.
When a trainee has successfully completed the program, and passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) registration, they will be promoted and placed in an unlimited, probationary position.
All trainees must become a registered Civil Engineer by passing the Professional Engineer (PE) exam within 6 years of being appointed a trainee, with no exceptions.
Minimum
Qualifications: To qualify applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an accredited university or obtain a BSCE degree by the date of hire. The anticipated date of hire for this position will be either January 14, 2015 or June 3, 2015, dependent on when the selected candidate completes their degree program.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
