Job Purpose:
Responsible for answering incoming calls from customers, answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information and assistance related to Healthcare Programs and Services. Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other customized systems to perform all tasks and duties for customers to ensure delivery of high quality service for all consumers.
Position Duties:
Responds to enrollment and/or eligibility services calls, provides responses to questions, mails information in response to requests, and refers callers in the event of problems or concerns.
Educates client on managed care.
Assesses client health care needs and assist clients in choosing a health plan.
Maintains updated knowledge of the project.
Maintains updated knowledge of health and dental plans (MIChild only) that are available to clients.
Assists clients in enrolling/disenrolling in health plans and dental plans (MIChild only) and in completing MIChild applications.
Receives, sorts, reviews for accuracy and completeness, and processes enrollment/disenrollment forms.
Sends necessary letters to clients.
Raises issues of concern and/or problems to the attention of the Supervisor.
Assists MIChild clients in determining and renewing eligibility.
Verifies enrollment and case information in CIMS, MMIS, MAXSTAR and the MIChild database.
Meets all standards established for the position as outlined in the performance criteria.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
Location: East Lansing, MI
Hours:8 hour shifts between 8:00am - 7:00pm, Monday - FridayEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
