Company in Monroe, NC is seeking a Business Systems Analyst-Operations. This person will have to be on-site at their facility.
This role is responsible for providing high quality IT business systems solutions for manufacturing production operations and integrated business functions. This position will provide in-depth support and continuous improvement for Oracle R12 Process Manufacturing (OPM), Inventory and Shipping along with custom applications also used by manufacturing. This role requires collaboration with the business users as well as with the integrated business systems team. The ideal candidate possess the following skills:
o Demonstrates expertise in Oracle R12 Process Manufacturing and Inventory along with an understanding of Receiving, Shipping and Quality.
o Quickly learns new custom application purpose and functionality
o Understands supply chain and manufacturing business processes and practices
o Works collaboratively across levels and between functional areas
o Possesses excellent problem solving and communication skills (written and verbal)
o Understands IT processes (Software development lifecycles, functional specification development, application configuration management, etc)
o Understands IT technical components (architecture components, PL/SQL, etc)Job Duties
o Develop an effective understanding of business objectives, processes and activities
o Evaluate business process requirements to develop effective solutions
o Assure adherence to all IT controls and maintain alignment with IT Strategies
o Plan, design, develop, and deploy efficient information systems in support of core business functions
o Manage application lifecycles, including release planning (enhancement/upgrade), maintenance (bug fix and routine patching), and replacement/decommission.
o Design, lead and perform system testing
o Primary expert for application support (Level 2 help desk), including problem analysis and resolution
o Maintain application configuration controls
o Support business reporting and business intelligence, including OBIEE
o Support data management business initiatives and processes

Top 3-5 must have skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience which includes:
Functional expertise in Oracle R12 applications
ERP implementation and production support experience
business requirements definition and functional design specifications
developing and executing test cases
problem solving

Degree Requirement: BS Degree in Business Studies or equivalent

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
