Sr Logistician

The Sr. Logistician will support the review and maintenance of Logistics and Configuration Management data for the USCG's National Security Cutter.
Logistics Planning Support
Developing, documenting, & presenting Change Management Plans (CMP) in consultation with stakeholders
Interacting with stakeholders and contractors to:
Evaluate proposed organizational constructs
Develop courses of action and recommend preferred option.
Assist with implementation of CMP, monitor/track progress and report results.
Facilitate strategic planning meetings including keeping the minutes of the meetings.
Tracking, analyzing and providing recommendations for program and milestone reviews.
Documentation support - Provide documentation review and analysis assistance in support of logistics, project transition and sustainment related documentation including but not limited to the following:
Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP)
Electronic Integrated Logistics Support Plan (EILSP)
Configuration Management Plan
Configuration Control Board (CCB) Charter
Configuration Review Board (CRB) Charter
Conferences & Meeting Minutes - Coordinate Integrated Logistics System Management Team (ILSMT) meetings; and IOC Configuration Control Board meetings and workshops with relevant stakeholders.
Develop, analyze, monitor and update various documents including but not limited to:
Acquisition Strategies
Test & Evaluation Plans
Project Management Plans
Acquisition Program Baselines
Risk Management Plans
Requirements Documents
Configuration Plans
Transition Plan
Previous experience with logistics and configuration management for a large ship acquisition project.
Experience
10
years of hands-on experience in direct support of multiple logistics elements for a major acquisition
Education
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in appropriate business or technical discipline
DAWIA Level II Logistics certification or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
