Primary FunctionTeamPeople is looking for freelance Media Production Technicians to assist with day-to-day operations with one of its clients in the Washington, DC area.Positions we are actively recruiting for include, but are not limited to:Camera Shader, Master Control Operator, PowerPoint/Playback Operator, L1/L2 Lighting Tecnicians, A1/A2 Audio Technicians
Potential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate production equipment (SD, HD, IP and file-based) both in studio and on-location
Operate studio, ENG and robotic cameras, record SD and HD images and sound at live, live-to-tape and offline events; field and studio shoots to be shown in a variety of outlets
Perform studio and location audio recording, basic lighting setups, vision mixing, teleprompter and character generation setup and operation
Operate and troubleshoot broadcast quality cameras of a variety of formats, professional and consumer models
Take direction and adjust shots quickly and accurately for focus and picture composition
Set up, operate, troubleshoot and strike tripods, lenses and other camera parts and accessories
Perform content ingest and media file management to assist in the programming for the broadcast facility
Attend meetings and share information needed for events and broadcasts
Proactively generate relationships with internal departments, vendors, clients and staff
Perform other duties as assigned
Potential Requirements
Command of modern digital video production, equipment and processes
Understanding of signal flow
DP/Camera operation skills
Familiarity with monitoring and metering of video and analog/ digital audio signals for quality controls; also, be familiar with analog/ digital routing and distribution including patch panels.
Must work well in teams and be comfortable both giving direction and receiving it from others;
Proficiency with studio communications systems (intercom, IFB, hybrids, and telephone)
Customer service orientation; Professional presence and superior client relationship skills.
Ability to interface effectively with a variety of people including team personnel, clients and vendors to establish productive, ongoing relationships
Proficiency with audio visual and meeting/conference/event procedures
Willingness to be cross trained in multiple positions with a proactive attitude to jump in where help is needed
Ability to thrive in a multicultural and multilingual environment
Ability to read, speak and effectively communicate in English; Bilingual in other languages preferred
Education & Experience
Bachelor s Degree in Communications, Arts, IT or related field preferred;or combination of technical training and production experience

years hands-on technical experience in the audio visual, television, electronics or IT industry
Physical Demands
The duties of this position require the ability to bend, kneel, crawl, climb ladders and to stand for long periods of time
Candidate must be capable of working at heights and have good balance
Candidate may be required to lift heavy equipment up to 50 pounds
Adverse conditions may include noise and dust

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
