Mactus Group is looking for a great Licensing Analyst to support a Software Asset Management (SAM) team in analyzing customer licensing positions and engaging with field sales, partners and customers.
JOB
Responsibilities:
Validating partner deliver quality and adherence to SAM business guidelines and policies
Provide licensing consultation and support field sales and partners in helping customers to understand their license position and any potential gaps
Analyze customer concession requests and provide recommendations to empowerment decision owners
Support the partner in the accurate, relevant and complete review of SAM engagement results for customers
Proactively offer licensing coaching to SAM partners and internal stakeholders that drives more effective business and opportunity management
Contribute to the SAM community by sharing recommendations and insights on how to improve partner performance and business practices within SAM
Success in the role includes growing the revenue contribution through SAM, closing deals within guidance, and maintaining customer satisfaction
BASIC
Qualifications:
Need deep licensing knowledge from historical perspective along with licensing programs, along with awareness of new licensing models (Online Services)
Customer/partner facing experience
Sales ability and able to deliver hard messaging
Convey confidence and some level of authority with knowledge of license requirements
Able to multi task and review various data inputs and come to business decision
Able to position business decision to field sales/customer/partners asnecessary
3-5 years' experience in licensing or software asset management experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
