The Central Service Inventory Clerk provides a delivery service of equipment, sterile supplies and other supplies needed for patient care on a routine basis and monitors inventory and ensures charges are generated for supplies and equipment used.
Education:High school education or equivalent.
Experience:Prefer experience in Medical field.Skills:Computer abilities, communication skills, reading skills, cognitive skillsInterpersonalSkills:Ability to relate well with staff, patients, and visitors. Maintains confidentiality.Physical Effort:Medium-Ability to move up to 50 pounds.Hours of Work:Variable day, evening, night shift. Rotating weekends and holidays.Other:Works under the following conditions: Potential exposure to mechanical, chemical, electrical and infectious environmental hazards. Stands up to 95%25%20of an 8 hour shift.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
