We have an opening for a Production Line Lead on a very busy, fast paced production packaging line. If you are a motivator, energetic and have leadership experience in a warehouse, then we are looking for you!
Provide day to day direction to the team; ensure quality and production standards are met according to client expectations. Must be able to motivate individual employees and stay on track in a fast-pace production driven environment. Must be able to maintain and if needed come up with ways to improve daily, weekly and monthly performance results.
Import orders
Maintain a clean line by completing a daily cleaning checklist
Make sure all orders are processed in a timely manner each day and are loaded on the freight truck for delivery
Keep your team motivated
Complete a daily truck inspection
Monitor the line all the time and shift your labor as needed
Must have basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Minimum of 1 year leadership experience in a production/warehouse setting.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the position.
The ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety is extremely important.
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with great attention to detail.
Must be able to work overtime as needed and be able to work a flexible schedule (including weekends).
Ability to adapt to change in the workplace and shift priorities easily.
Must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Must be able to use proper technique to lift up to 75 pounds.
Salaried position with pay depending on experience.
Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background investigation and drug screening.
