Camp Fire Columbia is seeking enthusiastic, experienced K-5 educators with excellent facilitation skills who are interested to work in the field of youth development in our Before & After School, fee-for-service child care programs.We are currently taking applications for people interested in working in the West Linn area. Camp Fire Columbia strives to achieve youth development outcomes by engaging program participants in academic enrichment and support, creative arts, hands-on project based learning, active recreation, community building, service learning, and leadership activities. We have multiple positions available for the 2014-15 school year, including: Site Supervisors, Lead Instructors, and Site Instructors. Training sessions begin immediately, with programs opening at school sites on September 2nd.

Part-time positions (20-30hrs/wk)
oMorning shifts:7am-9am
oAfternoon shifts:2pm-6pm
o Additional outside program planning and Camp Fire training hours paid
o Full-day program shifts available during school in-service and break days
Staff will work directly with community members, school staff, parents and students.
All positions focus on developing and facilitating Camp Fire after-school activities for elementary students in grades K-5.
Site Instructorsare responsible for planning and teaching sequenced lessons in classrooms and other school settings for up to 15 students at a time, while working collaboratively with a team to support full program groups of 30-70 youth.
Lead Instructorssupport curriculum development and work closely with Site Supervisors to support program management and development.
Site Supervisorsoversee site programs, manage daily operations, maintain professional relationship with school staff and Camp Fire office staff, and supervise up to 6 site staff.

All staff must have (and maintain) current documentation of required safety set trainings, or obtain these within 90 days of hire:
oCPR/First Aid
o Oregon Food Handlers' card
oRecognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect
Ability to commit to one full school year
Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred and/or training/experience equal to the required knowledge, skills and abilities of this position
Previous experience instructing in an after-school program environment, child care facility, or comparable program
Knowledge of best practices in youth development and positive behavior management
Knowledge of Oregon Child Care rules and regulations
Ability to work as part of a team and independently

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
