Position Description
Summary
Working under the direction of the Administrator, this position assists with the daily operations of a facility and has management responsibility in the Administrator's absence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assists in ensuring the quality and appropriateness of Resident care meets or exceeds company and industry standards.
Assists in ensuring compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, accreditation and reimbursement guidelines and standards.
Assists in the preparation of the annual budget for facility. Monitors monthly performance of facility in relation to budget and intervenes as needed.
Helps the Administrator recruit, hire, provide orientation/training, and retain a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out facility programs and services.
Ensures facility is a safe, clean, comfortable, and appealing environment for residents, visitors and staff in accordance with company guidelines.
Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
Qualifications
Has valid Administrator's license issued by the State's governing Board.
Meets minimum education requirements of the State.
Prefer one to three (1-3) years experience as a healthcare facility administrator or recent completion of Administrator-in-Training program.
Proficient in the use of a personal computer.

Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear. Employee is occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
