Customer Service Quality Assurance Permit Closer

The Quality Assurance Permit Closer is responsible for the timely delivery of temporary permits and ensuring the customer receives the highest level of customer service. This is a fast paced work environment that requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, sense of urgency, superior multi-tasking skills, and data entry skills. This position will assist the ordering agent with permit orders via phone/fax/Internet.
Process permit requests from customers; assures accuracy and completeness
Thorough knowledge of our internet web application to assist customers with their orders
Follow-up on outstanding orders, assist with status checks
Maintain pre-defined service level of customer calls, departmental service levels, individual production and quality requirements
Assist additional team members in areas that are needed
Maintain inventory of pre-purchased permits
Assist in maintaining records by customer for state audit purposes
Interface with Permit Manager and Supervisor to ensure completion of daily job functions
Handle or escalate complaint or problem calls to Permit Supervisor to ensure proper follow-up (both EFS and the customer)
Communicate permit issues with ordering agents
Ability to interface with internal/external customers and manage accounts
Assist in reporting lost and stolen cards through MOL/MasterCard
Other duties as assigned
