Summary: The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the entire business performance of the establishment. A Restaurant Manager uses past performance, market conditions and strategic planning to forecast supply and demand. He or she coordinates all activities including management, customer relations, and marketing to ensure efficiency and profitability. Requires significant experience in various facets of the restaurant industry or related field; and/or a degree in a related field.
Job Tasks
? Assist the General Manager with setting and executing Annual Budget, Business, and Marketing Plan
? Manage food, liquor and labor costs.
? Assume responsibility for the day to day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and profitability.
? Devise systems, set policy and provide guidance and implement changes to ensure quality standards for service and food.
? Work with kitchen management to make menu changes and ensure that all communication between the front and back of house is accurate.
? Develop cost-saving strategies to increase profit and manage labor costs.
? Provide for training to ensure performance objectives are met.
? Provide leadership and team building for staff.
? Investigate and resolve food quality issues and service complaints.
? Discipline staff appropriately according to policies and procedures.
? Create and maintain the staff schedule
? Prepare end-of-day reports and ensure that all cashiers, servers and bartenders are balanced.
? Recruit and hire, train new staff as required.
? Develop Sales Plans and train team members - Upsell Program, etc.
? Maintain high standards of quality control and health and safety.
Requirements
- Serve Safe Certificate - 3-5 Years of Proven Restaurant Management experience - High School Diploma - Four year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or equivalent combination of education and professional experience preferred The hospitality business functions seven days a week, twenty-four a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Company rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel/restaurant facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. - Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Casa Resorts from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
