Position Scope:
To support the Product Manager with the development, execution and implementation of the overall marketing initiatives. This position will play a critical role by working closely with the Marketing, Sourcing, Product and Sales Teams with key initiatives to achieve the overall objectives within the department. This person will report to the Director of Product Management and will be responsible for the below activity
Marketing Coordination - Develop, track, lead and follow up on all marketing projects between the corporate market department and the division. Key go to person for project completion between sales team and corporate marketing. Work closely with Sales Managers, Product Manager, Purchasing and Graphic design to ensure that all projects are tracked and completed accurately and on time.
Package/Marketing Development - Work with package designers to help define and develop new packaging strategies to promote the best brand awareness that effectively communicates our product in the marketplace. This person will communicate with the sales team to determine outline of project, then convey the project expectations to the corporate marketing team. Coordinate all package/artwork/video/web projects with the corporate marketing team. Hold weekly meetings and track project status.
New Product Development - Review, define and manage new product launch process (samples, product specs, timeline, packaging, sell sheets, etc.). Develop quarterly internal presentations to sales group and management that outline the success of new product programs (NPD reports, POS, 12 month score cards).
Analysis - Analyze customers POS data to determine sales trends and marketing opportunities for our major customers. Evaluate POS data to present fact base analysis that fosters the development of promotional and off shelf opportunities. Use any additional data we may have (store shops, NPD, Mintel) to develop three year strategies (product roadmap) for our key product categories.
Internet - Manage and develop strategic plan for TAG's brands on our own websites, customer websites and on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn). This includes maintaining overall content, images, videos, etc. Work closely with sales managers to ensure all key products are available for online sale.
Comp Shops - Regularly shop major retailers to find new products/packaging/merchandising concepts that can be implemented into the overall marketing goals. Coordinate the competitive shop schedule so they are timely for key customer line reviews.
Catalog Development - Review and identify catalog improvements. Coordinate catalog completion timeline, layout and manage the key processes to meet these timelines.
Promotional Calendar - Define and develop key product promotional calendar (Fathers Day, Labor Day, Holidays, etc). Drive these promotional platforms with key internal and external departments (Sales personal, independent sales reps, key customers).
Trade Show - Develop and implement complete trade show booth plan. Coordination the overall content for all shows (TV, ACE, Midstates, AAPEX, TSC, etc).
Other activities as needed.

Job Requirements:
4 year college degree in marketing
3 to 5 years of working marketing experience in consumer or retail market channel
Basic understanding of retail environment of retailers such as Wal-mart, Home Depot, AutoZone, Lowes etc.
Strong communication skills (including copywriting, editing, proofreading)
Excellent project/time management and organizational skills
Competency in Microsoft Office (SAP is a plus)
Excellent follow-through skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure and tight deadlines
Able to take ownership of multiple projects from concept to completion
Adaptable and able to change directions easily
Needs to be pro-active and search out the information necessary to be successful
Winning attitudeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
