Assistant Account Manager will provide a wide variety of administrative support and assistance to clients and account management team. Assist with the administration of group and individual life, disability, and long-term care insurance plans.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 DOE
POSITION:
Provide general support to Account Management team.
Provide superior client service.
Manage billing, claims and other plan related questions.
Respond to client requests accurately and effectively.
Maintain and update all files and documentation in spreadsheets and company database.
Have or develop advanced knowledge of life insurance / illustration systems and proposals.
Maintain and update plan information and processes in Service Manuals.
Create, process and manage new hire kits and process terminations.
Assist with underwriting process and work with internal agent to underwrite policies for Multi-life team.
Perform plan audits.
QUALIFICIATIONS:
Experience working at an insurance company, employee benefits brokerage firm or in an employee benefits related field with life and disability products, and/or group insurance benefits.
Current California Life and Health Insurance license (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational and decision-making skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
