Purchases all materials for Plant Maintenance Dept., i.e., new machines, replacement parts, and laboratory equipment and supplies.
Purchases all expensed items for production, i.e., all stretch film, packaging adhesives, strapping, tapes.
Negotiates and administers contracts for storehouse replenishment.
Advises Maintenance Department and Operations of appropriate material selections and alternatives to maximize value of purchases.
Manages maintenance work order system fully utilizing SAP capabilities.
Manage/control storehouse inventory.
Reconcile monthly purchasing VISA statement.
Requisitions all stock and non-stock items for the storehouse.
Enters purchase orders into SAP.
Trains Maintenance associates on use of the SAP system.
Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Four years of maintenance operations and buying experience;
Knowledge of Plant equipment and components;
Knowledge of sources for replenishment;
Knowledge of Scotts Service Contract Requirements and Procedures;
Knowledge of Material Resource Planning System operation and purchasing procedures;
Problem Solving Ability; and to work with minimal supervision. As the plant's primary source of knowledge of mechanical components and suppliers and the plant's need to acquire non-stock components quickly, problems are generally resolved without supervisor involvement.
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts.
Ability to work in a team environment and promote teamwork. Job: OperationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
