Job Summary
:

Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper systems requirements specifications. Leads, guides and advises less experienced Business Systems Analysts. Competent to work at the highest functional level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environment. Responsible for leading an implementation effort according to the project plan and ensuring that the Dimensions application, as installed, meets the functional requirements. Responsible for feasibility studies, priority decisions, resolution of development issues, system impact analysis and developing technical knowledge of system parameters, tables, profiles, and data. Also has duties instructing, directing and checking the work of other systems analysis. Responsible for leading and monitoring the work of team members. Responsible for quality assurance reviews, project completion, and user satisfaction.
The following qualifications are the minimum necessary to adequately perform this job. However, an approved equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities could be acceptable, subject to any licensure/certification/legal and/or regulatory requirements.

: Related associates degree.
Additional skills required:
Ability to lead teams and direct an organized work effort. Extensive detailed understanding of the business or functions for which applications are designed. Awareness of current and future trends in IT and healthcare. Ability to understand, report and direct team and other IT department personnel to respond to critical production issues in a timely and complete manner, keeping both IT and business owner management informed at all phases of issue resolution. Competent to work in all phases of systems analysis assignments with responsibility for successful completion of a project. Competent to work on complex systems analysis assignments and coordinate multiple phases of a project. Thorough understanding of IT fundamentals, project methodology, and methods used for systems analysis and design. Thorough understanding of the function for which the software is designed. Ability to work under deadlines and heavy workloads. Knowledge of the hardware and/or software is extremely valuable though not necessarily required. Ability to work with all levels of healthcare personnel from top management to entry level clerks throughout the enterprise. Possess knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to needs of customers appropriate to status, job class and education level.
Work Schedule
Full time, exempt
Monday-Friday, some weekends and evenings requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
