The Operations Support Professional will manage or maintain the day-to-day responsibilities within their respective area of responsibility and dependent upon the position may include the following.
Employee management and development, inventory management, engineering, maintenance, operations, service, Health Safety and Environmental (HS&E), quality, training, planning and budget management.
Managing daily operations and personnel associated
Responsible for lower level profit and loss (P&L).
Review of work activities, job programs and job design
Prepare, monitor, and control financial plans, including local/direct revenues, marketing expenses, head count and profitability.
Responsible for oversight and enforcement of all HS&E, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, HR, Financial and Compliance policies that relate to area of responsibility.
Manage and provide oversight to personnel development and ensure proper succession planning.
Provides technical guidance and work direction
Oversee planning and implementation of the business plan.
Participate actively in quality improvement efforts.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Completed Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent related experience
8
years' experience in field of responsibility
Intermediate to advance Microsoft Office packages
PREFERRED / DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Comprehensive understanding of product, product line(s)/service(s) and/or function of responsibility
Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements in area of responsibility
Basic knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, Health Safety and Environmental (HS&E) and compliance.
Understanding of continuous improvement.
Ability to interact well with others.
Financial aptitude
Mechanical / Mathematical aptitude
Familiarity with SAP
