Human Resources Generalist
My client, a leader in manufacturing/construction, is seeking to add a Human Resources Generalist to their team due to growth. This company offers great work/life balance and benefits. This position will be in Cool Springs.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist:
Administers 401(k) plan including but not limited to evaluating and authorizing hardship withdrawals and other employee distribution requests. Coordinate annual 401k audits, including any additional impromptu audits.
Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations; completing personnel transactions.
Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.
Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.
Manages client expectations by communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Maintains employee benefit data to include: entering new employees, making changes to employee data, entering benefits information, and updating terminations.
Acts as benefit liaison for employees
Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist:
Bachelor's degree in related field is required - Master's Degree is preferred. An equivalent in demonstrated job experience may be considered with comprehensive references.
Minimum 3 years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, PHR or SPHR certification is strongly preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
