Job Description
The Associate Manager, Actuarial position is in the Actuarial Financial Reporting group within Retirement, and will play a key role in supporting the rapidly growing Pension Risk Transfer business.
Financial Reporting
o Primarily responsible for Statutory, GAAP, and Tax financial reporting for the Pension Risk Transfer business
o Review and analyze monthly reserve traces and other reporting requirements
o Perform research and analysis to explain sources of earnings
o Collaborate with Valuation, Pricing and Operations to support new business implementation
o Implement efficient and robust processes and ensure compliance with Model Risk Policies and End User Controls
o Perform ad hoc regression testing of the financial reporting system
o Be an active participant in Prudential's actuarial community
o Bachelor's degree
o 2 - 3 years of experience in Actuarial or Finance
o Strong technical and analytical skills
o Highly motivated and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with high quality standards
o Ability to manage multiple key priorities effectively
o Collaborative and team-oriented
