Description
Coordinate daily Distribution Department operations to include production support, picking, staging, receiving, and loading. Supervises department personnel to achieve, accurate and complete orders for shipping, maximum labor efficiency, high quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Delegate daily duties to warehouse personnel.
Review orders for accuracy and work with personnel to correct errors.
Responsible for the rearrangement of stock layout to best accommodate new product, consolidate existing product, and recommend improvements in stock layout to provide the most efficient flow of work.
Perform and document warehouse inspections to address safety and quality issues.
Review daily shift forklift inspections and address deficiencies
Keep employees abreast of their performance and opportunities for improvement. Document progress and deficiencies in personnel performance.
Assist the Manager in the evaluation of warehouse duties in areas of shipping, receiving, order selecting, and clerical personnel. Make recommendations to reduce non-productive effort in order to increase productivity.
Comply and enforce all GMP, Safety, Quality, and HACCP policies, as well as all other company policies and procedures required of this position.
Special projects and other duties, as assigned.
Position Requirements
HS diploma or GED equivalency. 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience. Prior warehouse supervisory experience preferred. Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as math skills. Hands on working knowledge of Distribution, warehouse, and transportation disciplines. Should also have effective planning and organizational skills, cooperation and understanding of subordinates, with experience and ability to multi-task, as well as, prioritize. Knowledge and application of GMP, and Safety standards.Physical Activity/Work Environment:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
