Position Description
This position will support various projects at NASA GSFC in Greenbelt, MD. Candidates will work with Goddard engineers to understand requirements and produce designs of both flight and non-flight hardware. The applicant shall possess advanced knowledge of mechanical design, drafting practices, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and be able to complete models, assemblies and detailed drawings using PTC Creo 2 Elements. Responsibilities may include component design, spacecraft design, structure design, ground support equipment development, optical hardware design, creation of mechanical interface control drawings, electrical hardware design, creation of 3D models and detailed drawings, use of CAD models to perform trade studies, and supporting engineers in the construction and fabrication of hardware amongst other duties.
Position Requirements

Years design/engineering experience using PTCs Pro/ENGINEER or Creo Elements software
Experience with PTC Windchill 10 Product Data Management software preferred.
Strong background in the application of Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5M
Knowledge of material properties and fabrication techniques
Previous experience with NASA and GSFC drawing specifications and standards a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Associates Degree/Mechanical Design Certification, or Bachelors degree preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
