BUYER will plan inventory, place orders and process paperwork to meet customer requirements. BUYER supports the daily activities of the Production Control Buyers in their goal of maintaining acceptable inventory levels.



Responsibilities:
Support the implementation, achievement and maintenance of the Quality and Environment Policies.
Plan and maintain Inventory Levels of assigned parts within acceptable levels.
Coordinate the flow of parts between suppliers and M-Tek, Inc.
Review mass production schedules and forecast to plan inventory requirements. Release purchase orders to meet inventory plan.
Expedite parts as necessary to met changing requirements; enlist help where necessary to ensure customer requirements are met.
Maintains MAPICS setup for Buyers.
Coordinates trial builds.
Reviews and approve mass production purchase orders, establishes priorities given availability or capability.
Maintains accurate records of necessary data.
Trains new Buyers and current Buyers with new responsibilities.
Maintain inter-department communications.
Other responsibilities as assigned.


Education:
High School Education or GED with either (2) years College/Business College in Business or Purchasing or 3-4 years of buying experience.

Experience:
Two (2) years work experience as Buyer.

Good Mathematical Skills

Good personal computer skills
Ability to travel with little notice
Strong interpersonal skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
