Description:
Substation Protection and Controls Engineer (Mid-to-Senior level)
Provide engineering and technical expertise for the Substation Protection and Controls group. Perform modification and creation of single-line, three-line, relay and metering drawings and AC/DC schematics as part of the electrical design drawing package. Create protective relay settings and perform relay coordination studies. Prioritize and manage multiple projects, considering time and budget constraints. Review vendor design drawings to ensure compliance with established company standard design criteria. Specify and order protective relaying and control materials for assigned substation projects.
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering and 5
years of Substation Electrical Protection and Controls experience. A functional working knowledge of protective relay application in AC/DC schematic design is expected. Automation (SCADA) and telecommunications design experience is desirable. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
