Working with every Headquarters department and IJM office around the world, you will develop and deploy strategies that target and secure rising top talent to join our work as administrative staff, interns, or fellows.
This position is based at IJM Headquarters in the Washington, DC area, and reports to the Director of Recruiting.
Source Top Talent to Fill Key Entry-Level Positions
Develop, implement and evaluate tactics to attract excellent candidates to fill open positions and build a candidate pipeline;
Assist hiring managers in developing job descriptions and success profiles for open entry-level positions cross-departmentally;
Process and review applications, conduct phone interviews and provide candidate recommendations to hiring managers; and
Manage the interview process for all entry-level staffing needs, ensuring that all members of the interview team are equipped to perform their assessments in a professional, timely and effective manner.
Build a World Class Intern & Fellow Recruiting Function to Attract Top Talent
Work with senior leaders and their HR support across the organization to define and address current and future I&F; needs in their respective departments and field offices;
Manage the ongoing interview processes for spring, summer, and fall International and D.C. based interns and fellows, including processing and reviewing applications, conducting phone interviews, and providing candidate recommendations;
In coordination with the Interns & Fellows (I&F;) team, manage internal recruiting processes and procedures, including tracking the requests, selection and placement of interns and fellows both at Headquarters in D.C. and for global field offices;
Develop, refine, and manage the implementation of a multi-year college recruiting strategy that includes targeting key universities and job boards;
Develop and maintain strong relationships with placement offices, professors, alumni, and college ministries at targeted colleges and universities; and
In collaboration with the I&F; team, assist in creating the desired IJM employment brand by writing and editing recruiting materials for print and web.
Provide Recruiting Consultation to Global Offices
Conduct assessments of recruiting practices in field offices for a specified region and generate development plans for improved results;
Complete recruiting training and provide helpful feedback to appropriate global HR staff in areas of need; and
Provide strategic consultation on hiring decisions.
### Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a recruiting role that required a strong customer service ethic, the ability to work well with sophisticated and diverse audiences and superior critical thinking skills;
Proven ability to establish personal and professional credibility and build effective relationships;
Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills;
Ability to organize and manage a large volume of projects and candidates;
Strategic planning and program management experience preferred; and
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
