Portfolio or resume and cover letter required. Position starts at thirty-two hours per week and
nineteen dollars per hour. Advancement anticipated.
Habitat Mission:
South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity builds, develops and finances
owner-occupied affordable housing for Thurston County's very low-income workforce, disabled
and senior populations.
Position Description/ Duties:
The Marketing/ Outreach position is responsible for: affiliate
brand exposure and maintenance; community and media affairs management; the donor
recognition process; two community events; Store marketing assistance; Homeownership
marketing and outreach support; donor identification. Other duties as required.
o Brand Maintenance- Ensure that the Habitat for Humanity brand is recognized
throughout the community.
o Community and Media Relations- Promote SPS Habitat in the faith, business and non-
profit communities. Maintain a diligent media presence, including a monthly newsletter.
o Utilize donor software to coordinate acknowledgement and recognition of all
contributions.
o Coordinate and manage two community events: Blueprints & Bluegrass (an annual
volunteer andEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
