Our Client a 100
person branch of a national brokerage seeks a detail orientated accounting person with a good knowledge of GAAP as relates to a publicly traded company. Who has a 4 year degree in Accounting/Finance, good verbal and written skills, that has experienced with personal computers and business softwaresoftware
To
o Manage company payables
o Oversee invoicing of commercial, personal and benefit direct bill commission
o Process operating expenses and producer payables
o Check bank accounts for ACH's, wires, returned checks, miscellaneous entries and positive pay issues
And Assist with
o TIN Matching and annual 1099 reporting
o accounting compliance Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reporting
o IT Consultant with maintenance and upgrades for hardware and Applied AMS software
o Implement and maintain policies and procedures
o AOD timekeeping system and new ADP/Vantage HR system
o Conducting New Hire orientations and all other pre and post prep work regarding new hires.
o Maintenance of confidential HR data and files
o Administration of HR paperwork (new hire, termination, status change, leave of absence, benefits, payroll adjustments, etc.)
