is seeking an
Admissions Assistant
for our 240-bed Skilled Nursing Facility.
Must Have Prior Experience!

Duties Include:
Develop the facility's census by establishing & maintaining referral relationships with area hospitals, physicians and community organizations for the purpose of generating consistent admissions to the facility.
Ensure a consistent & effective process for coordination of admissions with appropriate departments and staff.
Understand the admissions process including policy, procedures, pre-admission assessment skills and admission paperwork requirements.
Maintain contact with local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage word-of-mouth referral activities.
Maintain knowledge of current regulations governing Medicare / Medicaid / Managed Care reimbursement processes.
Communicate special needs of new admissions to staff to ensure a smooth transition.
Handle inquiry calls from hospitals, families, etc., and provide appointments that include a presentation, tour and closing.
Requirements Include:
Prior experience in healthcare admissions and marketing
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Excellent internal sales/marketing skills with the ability to implement the process.
Computer literate, e.g. Word, Excel,Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
