Functions/Duties of Position
Job duties include:
Clinical Duties: The general clinical vascular medicine duties will include medical management of patients in consultation with Vascular Surgery, use of diagnostic service to include interpretation of noninvasive diagnostic studies, opportunities to participate in wound care, and participation in the Aortic Center. Serving as an attending in our outreach clinics will also be required and vary depending on divisional needs. Administrative roles will be offered as ability and needs match.
In Patient: The inpatient duties include participation in the delivery of care for patients with Aortic Disease and Peripheral Artery Disease.
Job Requirements
Must be a licensed MD, Board Certified in Cardiology or Vascular Medicine. Prior experience working in an academic health facility would be preferred.
