In this role, you ll coordinate and smoothly perform all aspects of collections from public and private payers in the healthcare industry in accordance with written processes, scripts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities:
Initiate all activities to resolve and collect balances outstanding on the A/R ledger Understand payer requirements for submission of patient claims, including appeals Populate and maintain SOPs, include payer specific data for the management of claims Investigate and resolve error notifications Respond to denials, re-submit and/or appeal as appropriate Follow-up and adhere to deadlines Additional duties as required REQUIRED
Qualifications:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent 3
years of experience in a medical collections role Proficient in ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding Strong time management, communication, scheduling and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications HOW TO APPLY:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
