We are looking for an CNC Programmer to work in the milling or lathe departments in a manufacturing facility. The work duties will include developing, editing, revising, and documenting manufacturing methods and CNC (CAM) programs from SolidWorks files, prints or other engineering media. We are looking for someone with CNC Programming experience, and with qualifications more than a CNC Operator.
Read and understand blueprints and schematics
Envision and design part fixtures for set-ups
Program parts in conformance with router processes
Advanced CAM programming experience
Create set-up information that adequately communicates set-up intent
Able to set up part at machine
Problem solving skills
Must be able to make parts from start to finish Job Shop Experience
Ability to operate/program/set up mutli access machines (Mazak, Mazatrol matrix exp.)
G-code editing, changing of values and programming a MUST.
Ability to read schematics and blueprints a MUST.
Must be familiar with making parts with aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, brass.
MasterCAM knowledge a plus!
Ability to work with very high geometric tolerances.
Must have experience on HAAS and Mazak machines.
Pay will be negotiated based on experiences and qualifications.
