Summary:
Position is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of received customer credit card authorizations and general department administrative duties.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Authorize and settle customer credit card authorizations
Answer general department phone calls, direct and respond as appropriate
Provide general support to department
Perform data entry and retrieval to meet requests
Hours: Monday through Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Overtime as required.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily while meeting department deadlines. Individual must have outstanding people skills, excellent organizational skills, strong computer aptitude, type 7,000 KPH (keystrokes per hour) and be able to multi-task. Chosen candidate will have a high aptitude for learning and keep current on any new changes.

Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Office equipment experience is preferred. Microsoft Office experience is preferred. Enterprise resource planning and/or financial systems experience is preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to effectively communicate with customers as well as internal personnel. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Effectively presents basic information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Exercises little decision making, advising the Department Supervisor, or designee, as needed of special concerns as they arise.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
