The Learning Leader ensures effective development, coordination and presentation of training programs to employees. Assesses organizational needs to drive training initiatives, identifies and arranges for suitable training solutions. Actively searches, creatively designs or procures, and implements effective methods to educate and enhance performance.
Maintains training resources, ensures effective delivery of training, and drives development of organized and sustainable processes designed to improve overall organizational performance improvements
Ensures knowledge management through reviewing, approving, improving and/or maintaining training materials and resources using a variety of media. Ensures training materials utilized organizationally are accurate, consistent with company culture and relevant to current business needs
Coordinates implementation of training programs through development of a training calendar; planning the logistics of equipment/materials/ resources needed for the successful execution of training events. Ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are available to trainers as needed
Monitors and evaluates learning activity effectiveness through a variety of evaluation methods. Tracks qualitative and quantitative performance metrics and addresses unfavorable trends
Supervises Trainers responsible for delivering training courses nationally
Executes and monitors programs and processes that ensure trainers are effective in delivery
Develops and manages training budget, delivers training as needed and represents the Talent and Organizational Development team on cross functional initiatives relative to training & development
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
3-5 years relevant experience is required. Experience in training management, people management and training budgets
Curriculum development
Expert level experience with Word, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with concepts associated with web design, including website architecture, HTML, Javascript and CSS
Familiarity with learning/content management systems and multimedia technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to continually adapt and learn new procedures and software programs
Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing duties at all levels of the organizations

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
