Express Specialized Recruiting Group is looking for an experienced Network Administrator for a local MS Gulf Coast business.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the IT Director, the Network Administrator will be responsible for responsible for all aspects of network administration including servers, desktop systems, communications hardware/software and office systems.
Responsibilities:
- Network administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail web server, internet access, office systems and applications support).
- LIMS Oracle database administration and backup. Maintain smooth functionality of LIMS by performing periodic database maintenance. Ensures data integrity.
- TARGET Chromatography Data System administration and backup.
- Upgrades, installs and troubleshoots networks, networking hardware devices, desktop hardware, software and applications.
- Maintains inventory of equipment and parts.
- Develops and documents system standards for computer and network devices
- Rolls out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
- Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan.
- Assists with technology planning through ongoing research.
Job Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years experience as an Administrator on a small/medium sized network of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products.
- Experience supporting, implementing and/or administering networks such as Microsoft Windows Active Directory.
- Experience implementing network security, including building firewalls, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, and file system integrity.
- Preferred experience with UNIX based systems including LINUX.
- Demonstrated knowledge of setting up remote access for users.
- Demonstrated ability to support networked printers and photocopiers.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of current communications devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies.
- Ability to negotiate hardware/software service and technical support with vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
