Job Summary and
Responsibilities:
The Sr Systems Analyst has advanced knowledge of the functions and applications of information systems. The Senior Systems Analyst should be able to complete moderately complex tasks and large or multiple projects with minimal direction. The position is responsible for implementing and supporting clinical, financial, technical and administrative systems, participating actively in development work groups, performing project management functions and mentoring team members.
1. Analyze, build and modify clinical, financial, technical and administrative systems.
2. Perform day-to-day project management of the software implementation, maintenance and support process with minimal direction.
3. Perform workflow or process analysis, document and make recommendations on solutions.
4. Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and mentor staff to promote staff development.
5. Participate in high level project meetings in the absence of the Lead Systems Analyst.
6. Participate in design, validation and QA testing procedures prior to implementation of software applications.
7. Recommend areas for process improvement or workflow optimization.
8. Provide system support including testing, trouble shooting, and software maintenance.
9. Provide support to users during scheduled and unscheduled downtime periods.
10. Assist users with the management of clinical, financial and administrative data.
11. Participate in training sessions as required.
12. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
13. Adhere to the standards identified in the Medical Center''s Organizational Competencies.
Working Conditions: Lift a minimum of 20 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 20 lbs. and stand a minimum of 4 hours a day.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Bachelor''s degree or applicable Certification in the area of Information Technology or Healthcare.
2. Professional experience in the areas of healthcare information technology, application implementation, support, and/or project management.
3. Minimum of three years of in-depth IT experience in application implementation and support and experience with the software development life cycle.
4. Proficient PC and Microsoft Office skills.
5. Effective oral and written communication skills.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
1. Healthcare Experience.
2. Project Management experience.
Licenses and Certifications Required:

1. Epic Certification in clinical, financial, or administrative applications where required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
