Our client, headquartered in Orange County, CA is looking for a Sr. SQL DBA to begin to build out their new staff in their newly build Data Center located near Carrollton, TX. Those authorized to work in the US without sponsorship will be considered. Client is not able to sponsor at this time.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Follow established procedures to install and configure Microsoft SQL, SSIS, SSRS services, etc.; and be able to perform database upgrades & patches with minimum supervision.
Ensure high availability, backup and recovery of production databases. Maintain database operation, including performing maintenance to minimize disruptions to users through frequent use and application of the DBMS standard utility and concept of data recovery principles
Track record in SQL/database performance optimization and high availability/disaster recovery.
Provide solutions to a variety of DBMS problems of moderate scope and complexity by troubleshooting the database to resolve errors where necessary and applying patches.
General technical knowledge of the Windows OS, network and storage with the ability to collaborate with system engineers for trouble shoot and problem resolutions.
Provide solutions to a variety of DBMS problems of moderate scope and complexity by troubleshooting the database to resolve errors where necessary and applying patches.
Ability to discuss database and data management techniques and capabilities with both technical and business audiences.
Create Technical operations documentation with limited guidance.
Ability to apply database management principle and theory to other related disciplines.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5
years in the design, administration, programming and support of Microsoft SQL Servers on Windows platform. Certification and ongoing training on MS SQL preferred.
Knowledge and working experiences in Oracle a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
