The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Plant Director for a large food manufacturing company in New Jersey. The qualified individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 100
employee operation. He or she will oversee the over-all management, direction and coordination of plant operations in executing company objectives.
Responsibilities:
Leads efforts to ensure the plant is accident free
Leads plant continuous improvement efforts
Directs process development, planning and overall manufacturing performance
Responds to production problems and pursues and implements solutions
Follows company objectives to direct quantity and quality of production
Manages the activities of quality control, production, shipping and receiving, maintenance and plant safety
Leads, develops and assists in the 5-year strategic plan for the operation
Coaches and mentors employees on achieving short and long range goals to support the company's strategic objectives
Demonstrates an understanding of financial reporting and budget preparation that include analyzing cost, operations and forecast data to determine departmental or divisional progress toward stated goals
Leads effort to develop and execute on Capital Plans for the plant
Development of a 3 year capital investment strategy
Works effectively with all other company departments to achieve strategic results
Engages with employees at a very high level and lead team building/ leadership development
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field is preferred
Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated sense of urgency
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to provide strong leadership and team building
Minimum of three years of experience in a senior plant management role that provided leadership to all areas of manufacturing operation
Must be a proven leader with capabilities and experience in the supervision and motivation of employees within a manufacturing facility
Salary: $115,000-$125,000Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
