Overview of Job Function:
The Financial Analyst Intern will be involved with all phases of planning, forecasting, financial control, reporting, analysis, financial modeling, and also participate on various projects. The FP&A; Intern will have the unique opportunity to gain valuable experience by assisting in preparing and analyzing data for monthly/quarterly financial statements, management presentations and ad hoc reports. In this role, you will input financial data into spreadsheets, create PowerPoint presentations, and generate system reports.
Principal Duties and Essential
Responsibilities:
Assists in preparing data for weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reports and presentations.
Responsible for the collection, review and analysis of data and the preparation of various financial reports for the business on a routine basis.
Inputs financial data on spreadsheets.
Work closely with FP&A; team in the Planning, Forecasting and budgeting process.
Aid in various other non-routine analyses and reporting to assist the management team in key decision-making.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor''s (or Master''s) degree in progress in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar discipline, with at least Sophomore/second year (50%of credits towards graduation) completed by May 2014.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, preferred.
Excellent oral and written skills
Intermediate Excel experience(ex. VLOOKUPS & Pivot Tables)
Be comfortable working in fast-paced, team environment under tight deadlines and be able to manage multiple priorities.
Successful completion of a background check process, including but not limited to, criminal, credit, OFAC, and employment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
