D&B offers exciting career opportunities and we are currently hiring a Technical Team Leader for our Parsippany, NJ location.
KEY SKILLS
Experience as a technical team leader
A four year degree in Computer Science or equivalent work-related experience
Knowledge of mobile technologies (iOS, Andriod, BB).
Experience developing applications for the mobile and tablet platforms
Experience with driving project functional requirements as a part of the overall system architecture
Experience with full software development lifecycle
Knowledge of multithreading and asynchronous messaging work flows
Strong understanding of web design conventions and best practices
Demonstrated experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment as a team lead
Demonstrated experience guiding a development team, mentoring junior-level developers, and evaluating new technologies (assessing risks & trade-offs)
Strong experience in relational databases technologies, preferably Oracle.
Experience with large systems software design and development experience, with extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure compliance with the current architecture vision and principles/standards for our Compliance Check Solution system through active participation on development projects.
Help drive the analysis and definition and requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs.
Review all development project documents specifically Business Requirements and technical design specifications to ensure that software will result in solutions that meet the intended business functionality.
Ensure deliverables resulting from technology programs are extensible to accommodate future requirements and vision.
Influence the project, development and support teams to ensure that they are appropriately balancing the delivery of practical benefits versus technological elegance.
Provide technical guidance for the development team, including the mentoring of junior-level developers.
Interface with Business, Product, Sales and Customer Support teams with respect to D&Bs Compliance Check Solution system.
Position Requirements
BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or extensive/related work experience.
Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience with IT application systems, with minimum four (4) years of application design
Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, and design and programming techniques.
Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives.
Ability to solve technical problems that involve remote and elusive symptoms, often spanning multiple environments in a business area.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for various projects.
Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
Strong understanding of the fundamentals behind efficient system design in a Service Oriented Architecture
Must possess strong technical skills in the following: Java, JEE, Spring, Spring Batch, Hibernate, JPA, XML, Webservices, SQL, Java Script, HTML, JSP, JDBC, OOAD
Architecture and design experience, Agile and Scrum
Expert knowledge in Unix/Linux, Oracle Data Base, JBoss, Tomcat
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
