Seeking multiple JAVA Applications Engineering Consultants, Princeton, NJ, Contracts.
BridgeView IT is seeking multiple JAVA Applications Engineering Consultants. The roles are located in Princeton, NJ. They are long-term contract opportunities. The JAVA Applications Engineering Consultantswill be responsible forsoftware design and development in a high volume, low latency document processing environment. Successful candidates will be tasked with building and maintaining prototypes and deliverable software to a cloud environment.
Required Skills/
Responsibilities:
Software design and development in a high volume, low latency document processing environment.
Building and maintaining prototypes and deliverable software to a cloud environment.
Expert in Java development with at-least 6
years experience
Strong Object Oriented Design/Development skills
XML
Multi-threaded programming
Logging Techniques
Unit testing frameworks such as GUnit / CPPUnit
Development tools such as the Eclipse IDE
Continuous Integration experience
Test Driven Development
Significant experience implementing systems with open source tools
Unix scripting (Bash and/or Bourne shell, RPM)
Excellent communications skills
Exposure to C+
is a plus as client will be be converting legacy software to Java
Must excel in an agile/scrum team environment
AWS Cloud experience is a plus
BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred
