Network Architect

The Network Architect position is responsible for planning, analysis and design of all network elements of VOIP based Call Processing Infrastructure, Applications and Technologies.This position will also be responsible for creation of standards, policies, processes and procedures for Data, Voice, Mobile, Video, Messaging applications.
Responsible for the architectural review and approval of Call Processing & Mobile application designs and technology selection for projects
Responsible for developing deployment architecture, solution documentation and diagrams for all Call Processing Application releases and projects
Evaluates and recommends opportunities in the area of strategic direction; identifies, evaluates and presents new business/technical opportunities to senior management
Strategic planning and long term resolution initiatives to address any operational issues/outages occurred
Develop and maintain a high level of expertise and competence in the proper technical procedures used to enhance and maintain the principles, theories and concepts of Voice and Data applications and technologies
Possess an in-depth knowledge of voice network architecture and design disciplines
Expert level understanding of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), VOIP Codecs, Real-Time
Transport Protocol (RTP), Real-Time Transport Control Protocol (RTCP), WebRTC
Should have proven track record of Vendor Management, Service Delivery, Technical
Management of Advanced VOIP solutions
Expertise in Configurations & Operations of Session Border Controllers (ACME, SONUS)
Expertise in understanding of Jitter, Delay, Echo, Gaps and other voice quality issues
Experience with SIP Peering and interconnects between carriers
Experience with implementation of IVR Systems
Operational expertise in troubleshooting impairments, tracing SIP based network elements
Familiarity with Unix/Linux Operating Systems, MPLS networks and network elements like f5, routers, switches
Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication skills
Education
Bachelor''s Degree with at least 6 years of experience in Telecommunications industry as Senior
