RN Qualifications/Duties Texas Health Presbyterian Denton currently has an opportunity for a RN to work Outpatient Surgery / Day Surgery Recovery PRN in Denton , TX.
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
Registered Nurse and licensed to practice in the State of Texas Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
1 year RN experience in PACU, ICU , ER or Med Surg BLS Data entry skills Able to function in a fast paced environment Teamwork a must Preferred Skills:
Day Surgery Recovery / Ambulatory Care experience ACLS BSN Technology:
Phillip monitors and Glucometer meters Shift:
10 Hour Shifts 06:

00 PRN No Weekends No Call Duties:
Independently care for post:
operative patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards/protocol.
Possess critical thinking skills to be able to take care of the post:
operative patients quickly and efficiently.
Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
Responsible for his/her own professional accountability and development.
Adheres to the Standards of Practice outlined by the American Society of Peri:
Anesthesia Nurses.
