Seeking a highly experienced Environmental, Health and Safety Site Manager, responsible for all EH&S issues associated with the day-to-day operations at our Columbus, GA facility, reporting directly to the Regional EH&S Manager.
Responsibilities include leading EH&S management programs and regulatory compliance for the Georgia site, strengthen partnerships across the site to provide actionable improvement programs, and lead/facilitate cohesive management of a single site EH&S program. Develop and implement strategies to eliminate injuries and drive for zero carbon footprint working with EH&S professionals as well as the site EHS Council. Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the facility is in compliance with all federal, state, local, and EHS related requirements. Drive EHS initiatives such as OSHA VPP and reduction goals for world class EHS performance. Support implementation and maintenance of EHS Management systems (SP001-SP017). Provide leadership & technical guidance to site EHS Council members, site EH&S Subcommittees, and daily support to all site employees. Complete all required reporting to government agencies at the Georgia site and assist employees and other EH&S professionals in the development of reports and standard work. Lead commitment of each business unit to implement site Green Factory, Green Engine, and chemical procurement/management systems and meet site environmental goals. Coordinate all internal EHS audit activity including corrective actions for each audit at the site. Interact with other business functions to ensure EHS effectively integrates into the business plan and provides the required resources to maintain compliance and prevent injuries and incidents. Lead/instruct site EH&S training courses per site training schedule to ensure compliance. Provide support to other EH&S professionals to drive action plans to meet or exceed corporate goals, manage Tier III audits, VPP, and all other EH&S external recognition programs. Responsible for improving EH&S customer service, employee engagement, and continuous improvement efforts in EH&S site operations. Actively lead the site team to ensure that best practices and standard work are relentlessly driven across the organizations.
This position is also expected to provide timely information and guidance for the General Managers and the site EH&S Council and Sub-Committees, including EH&S performance trends and root cause corrective actions for injuries and near misses and support in the development and implementation of strategic action plans to achieve the company goal of having a hazard-free workplace, injury-free employees and an unmatched commitment to compliance and pollution prevention. As a member of the leadership team, this position will drive action plans to meet or exceed aggressive EH&S goals, act as the primary EH&S technical resource for the site and provide training and support for the sites hazard risk assessment strategy, program evaluation, audits, ISO 14001 registration, VPP and all other required EH&S external recognition programs. Along with management, act as the EH&S liaison with employees at the site. The EH&S manager must directly support employee engagement around EH&S and other key initiatives of the leadership team.
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters of Science in EH&S or related technical field.
Minimum 10 years as EH&S professional with direct involvement with management responsibilities.
Knowledge of EH&S regulatory and management systems.
Continuous Improvement experience (such as Six Sigma).
Very strong communication, strategic leadership, technical and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
Additional certifications, such as CSP, CIH. P.E. or CHMM, strongly preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
