Responsibilities will include the following:
Work with various operations teams to develop and modify an existing Intranet web application.
Perform web development, testing, debugging, documentation, and installation tasks for web application in accordance with government best practices and specific internal procedures and standards.
Perform customized integration of COTS packages per customer's requirements.
Provide on-call 3rd tier software support for the EMS.
Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products.
Required Skills:
Thorough understanding of the web UI design, its capabilities and its limitations.
Thorough knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML, JSON, and Java Server Pages.
Knowledge of Google web APIs, jQuery, and Dojo is a plus.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, MySQL is a must (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres is a plus).
Knowledge of Linux operating system and ability to write shell scripts and use other Linux utilities like cron, SVN, Sed, and Awk.
Education/Equivalent
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Experience
5-8 years of related systems engineering experience.
Unique/Additional Requirements
Knowledge of network management tools such as HP Open View, CiscoWorks, or OpenNMS
Knowledge of Cybersecurity techniques

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
