Computer System Analyst (Senior Principal Consultant)

JOB DUTIES: Act as Subject Matter Expert on Analytical Applications Infrastructure (AAI) architecture, deployment and OFSAA Vision; project implementation activities to include workshop facilitation, architecture presentation, infrastructure discussions and recommendations, production of project artefacts like pre-install checklists and deployment views, oversee the deployment of the OFSAAI platform and applications in a customer environment; identify customer technical resources to ensure that third party products are correctly configured for integration with the AAI platform, interact with Functional and Technical Consultants to ensure deployment of the OFSAAI platform and applications; discuss and document configuration of client environment; promoting best practices to include sizing models, task estimation models, project artefact templates, implementation methodologies, project plans, white papers.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field , followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include: deployment architecture design experience on medium to large projects; understanding of standard n tier systems architecture systems processes and principles; unix (Solaris, Linux, AIX) operating systems and associated hardware platforms and peripherals; XML, SQL and unix shell scripting; Oracle database; Data Modelling Experience with Erwin; LDAP/AD, Web Services, SOAP, Java Script; AutoSys and Maestro; sizing and integrating both distributed computing architectures and n-tiered architectures; and configuration and operation of Web application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat). Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
