This multiyear position is a terrific opportunity for a seasoned technical leader to provide oversight on this critical, high profile effort.
As a Senior Java Developer , you will be performing the following
Responsibilities:
Technical oversight and coordination of all team technical activities within an Agile Environment.
Mentor more junior team members.
Ensure compliance with all relevant customer technical guidelines including the SELC.
Participate in the development of user stories.
Lead impact and system analysis based on business requirements.
Develop consensus and working relationships with customer technical representatives.
Required skills
8-10 years technical experience
Expertise in Java/J2EE
AJAX (Jquery or DOJO)
Freemarker template/JSP/HTML/Tag libraries or any other Java GUI framework.
Spring Framework
XML/XSLT
JAX-WS/ JAX-RS Web Service
Junit Testing
JBOSS EAP 5.1 or above
ORM Framework (Hibernate, iBatis, etc)
Ant/Maven
Continuous Integration Development Tools (Subversion, Jenkins)
Agile Process (Tools: Rally)
Desired skills
Google App Engine (PaaS), Oracle Application Gateway
Ability to assist and drive the grooming of backlog and sufficient definition of user stories.
Automated testing tools (Test complete or Selenium)
Continuous Integration experience (e.g., Hudson)
Assist customer in maturing Test Automation, Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development capabilities.
Education and years of experience
Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 years of experience
Clearance
Must be able to obtain/ Maintain a Public Trust
