Java/Swing GUI Engineer
HPR is seeking a senior Java Developer to develop software for front end financial applications. You will be responsible for designing and implementing Java based financial software solutions using Swing based user interfaces in a real-time environment. The application is a front end for our proprietary risk management system. You should be capable of proposing and documenting software design, analyzing requirements, and presenting implementation options through the use of design diagrams and wireframes. You will be responsible for hands-on development and promoting best practices for both object-oriented design and development.
Skills:
Ability to review design decisions for extensibility, testability, and maintainability.
Design and develop reliable components that are well tested.
Properly document work in accordance with the standards of the team.
8-10 years of object-oriented design experience. 5 years of development experience with Java/Swing
Understanding and dedication to software development best practices.
Technical leadership abilities.
Financial industry experience is required with financial market experience a strong plus.
Ability to work with end users.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
