The responsibilities include:
understanding functional specs, creating technical specs, coding, code review and unit testing on the IBM WebSphere server using RAD or eclipse.
The individual will work with the application owner and the business owner to understand the functional specs.
This candidate will work with the offshore team to coordinate any development that can be done with the offshore team.
The individual will work on projects and major enhancements.
Will be involved in changing web application interfaces, adding/editing attributes sending to SAP system, Workflows and Other Development objects.
Will be involved in Web/Mobility development for the web applications that will interfacing to SAP system.

years hand-on experience in Java/servlet/JSP/EJB development.
? full knowledge of STRUTS framework and Java reflection, with at least 3 years of hand-on experience.
? 2 years experience in web services.
? Familiar with IBM WebSphere server and RAD development tool
? Demonstrated expertise in querying data from DB2, MS SQL server
? Proficient knowledge of JDBC and JCO
? Familiarity with SAP Enterprise Portal, WebDynpro Java is preferred
? Mobile programming skill is a plus
? Knowledge of ABAP programming is a plus
? Familiarity with Linux / UNIX and FTP is preferred
? Performs detailed analysis of business process requirements and provides the appropriate system solution
? Translates functional specifications into technical solutions
? Designs, builds and tests Object Oriented programming
? knowledge of programming principles to write efficient, easy to maintain code
? Prepares comprehensive technical documentation including specifications, test conditions and test data
? Partners with peers when integrating functionalities across applications and/or modules
? Perform all facets of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
? Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
