The Iowa State University Alumni Association is currently seeking qualified candidates for an ISU Alumni Center Building Manager ( Program Coordinator I). This position is responsible for managing the building operations at the ISU Alumni Center. This building is 34,500 square feet.
Responsibilities include all aspects of Alumni Center operations such as reviewing, coordinating, and performing general facility (inside and outside) maintenance, developing standard operating procedures,collaborating with the Alumni Center Board of Directors, coordinating custodial service for events, and triaging building calls. Other duties will include oversight and preparation of budgets and reports relating to expansion, maintenance, and construction projects; and training staff in building security and safety standards. The incumbent will also supervise and coordinate special building projects.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, mechanical, construction, and systems aptitude, problem solving skills, and the ability to maneuver furniture and equipment. The incumbent will be required to perform work outside of normal hours which would include weekends and evenings when necessary to perform the duties of this position. Bachelor''s degree and two years of related experience OR a combination of education and related experience totaling 6 years. Experience must be at a comparable level and directly related to the duties of this position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
