# Job Description
This position is responsible for maintaining information within the BIW Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), to the high standards required by the government''s Defense Contract Management Agency.
Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and manage Control Account Plans for Operations management
Provide product budgeting, monitoring and input on budget performance metrics (EAC, BAC, ETC)
Support area management, by providing reports and analyses to aid in operational decision-making
Perform variance analysis, monitor Earned Value Metrics, recommend corrective actions, and track to completion
Support company level DCMA EVM actions; develop corrective action plans targeted to specific results
Monitor and take action to assure compliance with DCMA/MCS health metrics
Coordinate physical progress reporting with Planning and Scheduling
Support Control Account Manager with analysis and write-up of Cost Performance Report (CPR) Variance analysis
Prepare Quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) submittals for each OBS, for each contract
Work closely with management, Planning and Estimating to maintain budgets and charging for changes in work scope
Develop and track historic performance data to establish production rates for budgeting and performance monitoring
Support scoping and estimating efforts on new and existing projects
Execute tasks as delegated from the Control Account Manager
# Required Education/Training
Bachelor''s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Mfg Operations or Engineering required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
# Experience
3 years (Grade D) or 5 years (Grade E) experience in cost/schedule control methodology required
Strong understanding of Earned Value Management required
Conversant in the variables used to calculate Earned Value metrics required
# Unique/Additional Requirements
Demonstrated expertise and effectiveness in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access and Powerpoint
SQL or Visual Basic experience strongly desired, a plus
Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and prioritize work with minimal supervision
Excellent oral and written communication skills
